v7.256: Added software license checking.
v6.073: Support for mobile devices has been added to the content management module, as well as any pages created by the content management module, as well as the personal calendar module and the image gallery module. Pages built using prior versions of Web Builder require rebuild for mobile support. Added support for multiple Javascript onload events. Requires minor modification to each scheme. Improved display of pages containing lists of long filenames. Image gallery module now offers support for multi-column thumbnail displays. Smart quotes (ctrl-[ & ctrl-]) and dashes (ctrl-) may now be entered at the keyboard in the page editing dialog. Calendar module now displays national holidays. Shopping cart functionality has been unbundled from the Web Builder integrated suite, and is now available as a stand-alone software module.
v5.841: Twice-annual manual update of time offset for daylight savings is no longer required for personal calendar users. Tag clouds are now supported. If you want a tag cloud to appear on your website, minimal customization/configuration is required. All Triskelon products described in this website are now fully compatible with the date and time calculation standards as they have been modified in PHP version 5.1. The PHP version 5.x is now recommended for all Triskelon clients.
v5.687: Updated Personal Calendar module. The code associated with the ringing of alarms has been streamlined. Alarms will now ring more reliably, and time will now display more accurately. The calendar page now loads faster due to optional partial list mode. Calendar page displays are more crisp due to the use of a new high-contrast table scheme.
v5.107: Added optional classified ads module. Added support for Authorize.Net's SIM API interface in the classified ads module and eTicketing module. (SIM API offers PCI DSS exempt status without PayPal.) Site owners interested in using the Authorize.Net SIM API interface must have PHP version 5 running on their web server. eTicketing module is now fully modular. That is, it can be installed with or without the Web Builder software suite. Added customer service chat module. eTicketing module is now fully compatible with the date and time calculation standards as they have been modified in PHP version 5.1. The current version of PHP is now recommended for eTicketing clients.
v4.973: Added capacity for direct public contributions to blogs, moderated or unmoderated as per site owner's preference. Added capacity to change filenames after upload for images and other auxiliary files. In the appointment scheduling module, practitioners accepting appointments and sharing spaces in teams of two or three are now supported (for example three cosmetologists who share the same chair). Four practitioners sharing the same space are not supported. Updated the list of supported social bookmarking service providers, so that despite market changes, we are still supporting the most popular ones.
v4.674: Added CRM (Customer Relationship Management) module to Web Builder web management software suite. See details. Added refinements to eTicketing system and shopping cart checkout process.
v4.236: Added functionality to large-store shopping cart module that enables privileged customers to log in, then see and purchase restricted products that are not available to the public. Drop-ship orders are now supported by means of a packing list that can be printed by shipping staff to accompany orders. The packing list omits discount information (showing retail prices only) and features the bill-to party rather than the name of the online store owner. Added 4th product category to large-store shopping cart. The same item can now appear in up to 4 categories. The blog module's RSS support has been upgraded from v0.91 to v2.0. Improved handling of automated date/time stamp in blog module. Personal calendar items can now be archived online rather than deleted.
v4.017: Removed 9-scheme limitation; up to 35 schemes (page layouts) are now possible. Added support for unique description meta tag on each web page (pages created with prior Web Builder versions must be rebuilt in order to fully exploit this new feature). Added 2nd & 3rd product categories to large-store shopping cart. The same item can now appear in up to 3 categories. Invoice, Ship-to name, and Ship-to address details now show on client financial statements when merchant uses PayPal Express Checkout. Clients using the large-store shopping cart module will now find that uploaded images are automatically reduced to the optimal size, so less image pre-processing is necessary (if any). Special Order item status is now supported in large-store shopping cart.
v3.782: Added Appointment Scheduling module. A bug was corrected involving enlargement images in HTML code segments created via the small store help wizard. Image editing zoom level is now more flexible for larger images. Clients using the gallery module will now find that uploaded images are automatically reduced to the optimal size, so less image pre-processing is necessary (if any).
v3.634: Entire folders can now be excluded from the site search engine. This is especially helpful on sites who order SEO package M4, Full Service. Calendar module now offers week view, enabling users to see available and unavailable time blocks at a glance and navigate more intuitively.
v3.53: Added support for PayPal Express Checkout, making it possible to exploit real-time impulse purchases while making online stores PCI DSS exempt. Simplified table tags in help wizard.
v3.289: Added image editing module. Gallery module now supports caption editing. Shopping cart invoice page now supports affiliate marketing tracking pixels without significant customization.
v3.062: Added support for social bookmarking to Web Builder's content management module. Social bookmarking is a means of driving more traffic to your website. Added site search management tool so site owners can prevent certain pages from being found via site search. Useful for pages that are not meant for public view.
v2.996: Added more complete support for ISO 8859-1 symbols. Cutting and pasting between the Web Builder page-editing dialog and a Windows word processor which uses special characters including smart quotes will now be more seamless. See details. Added notification email to be sent to your shipping staff when orders are placed for tangible goods via shopping cart. (It is still recommended that shipping staff check the secure web interface a minimum of 3 times a week for orders to be shipped.)
v2.955: Added support for date/time stamp and RSS subscriptions in blogging module.
v2.903: Added optional pay-per-download module for selling downloadable digital content. Added optional eTicketing module for selling etickets and parking permits for a series of events. Shopping cart now displays a graphic progress indicator to visually guide customer along through the checkout process.
v2.766: In past versions, it was not possible to charge handling but not shipping. Now it is. Two variables are involved: "handling fee" and "free shipping threshold". To eliminate all shipping & handling charges for domestic ground shipping, both variables should be set to 0. To charge a flat rate, "handling fee" should be set to the flat rate value, and "free shipping threshold" should be set to 0. If you wish to have these variables configured for your shopping cart installation, please contact us.
v2.519: Added calendar module. Can be used to maintain either public or private calendar. Unlimited calendar accounts to support each member of your organization with a personal private calendar. Maintain it easily on any computer where you have a full keyboard. View it from your mobile phone or PDA from anywhere in the world. Changed action item links in pages, images, and gallery areas from text to icons.
v2.487: Although still not recommended as a best practice, added support for WYSIWYG editing (via a free third-party Firefox extension) for those clients who are just not interested in learning simplified HTML. Please see details. Modified help wizards pertaining to headers and fonts in order to provide better support for current trends in search engine optimization.
v2.426: Added function so that, if you forget to release a locked page, you can now override the lock without having to call for support. Increased editing area on page editing window. Added promo discount amount to shopping cart order status screen. Added confirmation when pages are deleted so pages cannot be deleted accidentally.
v2.407: Added option in shopping cart to offer discounts to customers using a promo code which can be provided via special advertisements and entered on checkout. Only those customers who know the promo code get the discount, like an online “coupon”. Store owner determines discount percentage, expiration date, which products are discounted, maximum number of discounted items, and whether a customer can use the promo code more than once.
v2.377: Added options in shopping cart to ship without tracking number, such as via USPS Priority Mail; and to collect payments without a merchant credit card account via PayPal and money order. These options are not recommended as best practices, but are now supported for those clients who have special circumstances, such as low sales volume when just starting up an online store. Still recommended to use package tracking to reduce your order status inquiries and loss claims. Still recommended to get a merchant credit account ASAP for best per-transaction rates and order-completion rates.
v2.314: Image gallery support added. Now a photo album or other series of images can easily be maintained without having to manually lay out captions, links, and thumbnails.
v2.213: Blogging support added. Enables the website owner to offer website visitors a series of journals or articles (one per page) without having to create or maintain a page of links. Please see details.
v2.144: Shopping cart software modules are now built into Web Builder and/or available as optional add-ons, depending on your situation, no longer requiring costly custom software development nor monthly subscription fees (as are charged by some shopping cart services). Please see details.
v2.076: Added file locking support to facilitate collaboration between multiple authors. Using older versions, multiple authors could have opened the same page at the same time, and work would have been preserved only for the author who saved last. Now, with file locking support, no one's work is lost. List of existing pages is now shown in date order. Last modified date is now available by hovering over the edit link in the list of existing pages. Added support to results.php for search engine spiders to index site, bypassing menus, for schemes which employ JavaScript menus.
v1.879: Added support for centered images in image help wizard. Added help button next to scheme selector in page editing window. Web Builder itself now looks for replace.sub.php file, not just scripts created by Web Builder; making absolute URL references possible.
v1.747: Clarified help wizard for creating links to other sites.
v1.709: Added “replace.sub.php” file which enables more efficient and thorough customization of pages in subfolders.
v1.46: Added support for two user-editable content areas per page. (Previous versions allowed users to edit only one content area per page, which lead to a less friendly experience when more complex page layout schemes were used.) Even where a complex page layout is required, the user experience will now be more friendly.
v1.077: Added functionality: (1) Deinstallation process. Website owners may now choose to deinstall Web Builder without Triskelon support. (2) Save button does not appear until page has been modified. Visible Save button is a reminder that the page has not been saved since last modified.
v1.068: Added preview pane to page editing window to enable users to view raw HTML and formatted pages simultaneously. Clicking back and forth between views is no longer necessary. High resolution screen recommended (1152 x 864 or better).
v1.049: Corrected rounding error in version number interpreter, such that false "outdated" indicator no longer appears.
v1.047: Replaced fixed file size limit with max time drop-down selector in image upload function, to help make website owners aware of how large files consume bandwidth.
v1.044: Added indicator to show whether the version of Web Builder installed on your web server is current or outdated.
